Carly Pearce to be Honored at Upcoming CMT Artists of the Year Ceremony
Tune in for a night of great stories and performances on CMT, October 14
CMT has announced its 2022 class of Artists of the Year, a favorite event for many country music lovers. The celebration makes for a night of fun stories and performances highlighting the best the year had to offer. This year, the sole female beneficiary is none other than Carly Pearce who admittedly has had a year for the record books.
“The last year of my life has been out of a country music fairytale,” Pearce shared on social media. “The dreams I’ve had since I was a little girl made their way to reality. Thank you, CMT for naming me one of their Artists of the Year. What a year it’s been for a girl who always wanted to sing country music.”
Alongside Pearce, the night will recognize Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Walker Hayes who also had a breakthrough year. This marks the first time Pearce, Hayes and Johnson have been honored, though it’s surely not to be the last.
With guest performances and speakers to be announced, the night is shaping up to be one of country’s biggest celebrations. Held at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, fans can watch the ceremony on Thursday, October 14th at 8pm CST only on CMT.
