One week ago singer/songwriter Mitch Rossell wrote “2020” and posted the song on TikTok with this caption, “Just wrote this, should I release it?? #2020 #newmusic #original #songwriter #hindsight #America #conservative #liberal #commonground.” It went viral and garnered over 520K views — see it here.

He posted this to his Facebook page — “It’s crazy how fast this song has entered the world. We just wrote it a little over a week ago, and after posting it on TikTok and watching it blow up, it’s now officially out. Now, I have a HUGE favor to ask y’all…I’m thinking if we REALLY get behind this, maybe, just maybe, we can get radio to pay attention and give it a shot. Y’all think we can get it to #1 on the iTunes chart? It’s a tall order, but I believe we can do it. So, if this message moves you, and you can spare $1, would you mind going and downloading it? It would mean a lot to me. Either way, I hope this song moves you and blesses you. It’s been a tough year, but I believe in us. God bless y’all. mitch”

The song is currently #5 on iTunes country chart and #13 on the iTunes All Genre US Sales chart. Rossell released the full song and official music…
