“It’s all about those people in your life that you can depend on and make you feel supported.”

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the song title “Clutch,” was a clutch hitter in baseball, the dependable player in the toughest of situations. So who is your clutch person?

I’ve always been a sports lover, and I love this question! I’d have to say that my brother was my clutch person. He was always my №1 supporter in all that I’ve done and although he recently passed away, I often think of what he would say or do in certain moments. He’s dearly missed and I wish he could have heard the new song.

What inspired the write?

I heard an announcer say it during a game, and I love the term. It stuck with me, and I decided to draw inspiration from it, and tell the story of an average man who goes above and beyond for the ones he loves.

What message do you hope fans take away from the song?

I hope that someone feels inspired to take action in their lives and do something for others. Whether it’s a small gesture for a stranger or going the extra mile at home or at their job, I want people to be inspired to come in clutch for those they care about.

“Cozy at Home,” your latest release, is a song to get us through the wintertime. You shared that your favorite winter activity is sledding, “the cool air on your face and the rush of speeding down the hill is one that I’ll never get tired of.” Can you share some other winter favorites?

I look forward to the Super Bowl every year, it’s so much fun gathering with friends and family watching the game. It’s the extra push that we all need to get through some of the coldest days of winter. I also love cozy drinks, like hot chocolate and hot herbal tea with honey and lemon. It’s so soothing and almost feels like a dessert.

Cozy at Home, the Spotify playlist (including Jordan Davis’ “Next Thing You Know”) — how did you select the songs?

I just wanted to add songs that put everyone in a good mood when they listen to it. I added some of my favorites, and I hope that they become new favorites for listeners.
