Your girl came home last night and what a homecoming it was!
She brought the all the energy, all the attitude and all the sass! I’ve genuinely not seen her smile so big or bounce so high! I would say she turned her energy up to 11 but it was probably closer to 20! Two years really was too long for her to be gone.
The crowd proved that! They were buzzing! They sang along (well screamed along. Lol) to every lyric in EVERY song! The love and admiration these people have for their girl was evident! And I’m so fucking glad I got to be there to witness it!
Watching her play a hometown show was ALWAYS gonna be special and it was the one show on this tour I was determined to see (like booked it in the presale kinda keen).
We FINALLY got to give her a gift that had been 2 years in the making and her reaction said and it all, not even the mask could contain that expression!
Last night was definitely a one of a kind experience and not even freezing in -9° weather can dampen from that! (It did freeze it a little tho.)
I’ve constantly said “I don’t know who’s crazier, the person who booked a Canadian tour in November or the Idiots who would fly into the country for it?!” It’s definitely the latter and I’m ok with that! This was only night two but this tour is EVERYTHING I need (but warm, haha) and Linds is definitely the only person I’d do this for.
That being said Linds, I’m genuinely disappointed we didn’t get a daddy/daughter duet last night!
Bring on Ontario!
