Most people don’t know this about us but, we are both related down our lines of lineage. We both come from the Cochran family tree in South Alabama. Post Civil War, the Cochrans found themselves in a little war of their own with the Pruitt family back home, in north Mobile county. This feud is a story that wasn’t well documented but, was the inspiration behind “Knife to a Gunfight” & “Shootout in Saraland.” These songs, off the Teenage Dixie record, we’re written to be the soundtrack of a short film entitled “Blood Feud” we’ve been working on. @nathaniel_maddux of @slateandglass directed it and we tried our hand at acting for the first time. Excited to announce the film premieres next Thursday.
