Project Admission Brings Ticketing Industry Leader Derek Palmer on as Chief Revenue Officer
Nashville-based ticketing technology expands team with former Tickets.com exec
NASHVILLE, TN (June 30, 2021) — Project Admission, a technology platform that integrates directly with the live event industry to expand ticket distribution, announces the hiring of ticketing veteran Derek Palmer as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Palmer joins the team to help lead their mission of helping brands, fans, and influencers buy and sell authentic tickets through direct and social channels. As CRO, Palmer is tasked with optimizing revenue growth across all departments in working cross functionally with product, engineering, operations, and sales teams.
Prior to his appointment at Project Admission, Palmer boasts a 28-year career in the ticketing industry. For nearly 15 years, he held senior roles at Tickets.com where he last served as Managing Director and Executive Vice President of International. During his tenure there, Palmer worked closely with the majority of Major League Baseball, Premier League soccer, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts and other notable institutions.
